Page Trustee: Revd Alan Comfort
| After
playing 250 competitive matches as a professional footballer
for Middlesborough and Leyton Orient, Alan’s football
career was cut short at the age of twenty five by a serious
knee injury. With a real passion for God, Alan took the
unusal step among ex professional footballers of becoming
an ordained Church of England Vicar. He has served churches
in Chadwell Heath, Buckhurst Hill and currently is Vicar
of St. Mary’s Loughton. Alan was the Vicar who baptised
Lauren in King’s College Hospital and later conducted
her Funeral Service at St. John’s in Buckhurst Hill.
He served as a Trustee for the Lauren Page Trust for 5 years.
